Sinds mijn nieuwe MacBook Pro met OS x 10.14 en Mail 12.4 op kan ik geen plaatjes mir in een email plakken; ipv het plaatje verschijnt een melding over een missend plug-in.
In aankomende Emails zijn plaatjes wel zichtbaar.
Probleem bestaat in alle 4 Postbussen (exchange & gmail)
Wat kan ik daar aan doen?

Das Problem lag wohl am Timemachine Backup was aufs neue Macbook übertragen wurde. Leider kommt da auch der alte Datenmüll inkl. inkompatibler Programme, Erweiterungen aufs neue Gerät. So manches führt zu Störungen und reduziert sogar die Leistung. Es gibt bessere Methoden um ein Neugerät von Anfang an sauber zu halten.
Bei Problemen mit Mailaccounts hilft meist immer diese Accounts bei Mail löschen und neu einrichten.

OK, wurde bei mir bloß alles auf NL angezeigt, wohl weil ich gerade in Belgien bin).
Wie auch immer, dann jetzt in EN, damit ich mein Anliegen auf beide Seiten loswerden kann.
Since my new MacBook Pro (1 week old) running Mojave, I can no longer paste images in my emails.
A message talking about a 'missing plug-in' is shown instead of my image.
At least yesterday. Now, when I paste an image, noting seems to happen. There is a short reaction (Paste is visible in the menu, so there is something in the clipboard) but no result, not even that missing plug-in message.
This is the case for al 4 postboxes (exchange and gmail).
I imported the Time Machine Backup from my old MacBook Pro 17 inch, on which I never had this trouble.
Unfortunately, this old machine died on me 3 weeks back (graphics board) so I cannot return there.
I have tried rebuilding a postbox, but that did not change anything.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Just found the reason:
The new default setting in Mail for creating emails is set to 'plain text'.
I did not find any obvious option in the GUI (like the format options in Outlook),
but there is an option in the settings under 'verfassen'
('create'? do not know what is written on that tab in the english version)
After setting this generic option to 'Formatted Text' I can again paste my emails.
A message telling me that I cannot paste images into a plain text email would have helped a lot!
I am not a huge Microsoft fan, but in outlook you get a message like that and the option to switch to HTML is also available in the Mail toolbar.
Would be good if this was copied....
