Mac Connection with my Canon EOS

Help!!! try to connect (for days) my Canon EOS 100 D with my Mac but the Mac does not recognize it. Got the Big Sur downloaded which seems to be not supported by Canon. Can anyone help? Thanks

Canon Cameras can not mount as filesystem. You need canon EOS Utility:

Hey,

you might be able to work around this problem by using SD-card slot on your MacBook Pro...

thanks, tried that. does not list Big Sur - only older versions.
