Motion 5.5.1 linking object size not working

I have linked the object size of two different text objects to the size of a rectangle behind them. I wanted to use the custom mix to "switch" between the size of the first text object and of the second one. But this doesn't seem to work. If I have the first custom mix to 1, it's right and if I have it on 0 it is also right. But the problem is that when applying keyframes to this parameter, the size stays like the one of one object or the other.

Is there any work-around to this problem or some other solution?

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 11.1
