Multiple serious issues with MacBook Pro 13" 2015
Hello,
I have serious issues with my MacBook Pro 13" early 2015 A1502 with macOS Monterey 12.4 (is supported according to Apple).
Approximately half a year ago, my battery died. When I noticed this, I hadn't used the MacBook for a long time. It was just laying around. Back then, with the broken battery, and on power supply, it hat poor performance. The UI lag was extreme. I swapped the battery with a new one (good product, but not from Apple). That didn't solve the issue. It was the same as before. I also tested the performance with disconnected battery on power supply - same.
I tried swapping the SSD for a recommended one (Samsung 980 Evo 1TB) - same issue (clean OS install).
Today, I received my ordered, rarely used logic board, which has exactly the same specs as now, 8GB / i5.
I tried again, waited for the Spotlight Indexing 250% CPU usage to disappear. Now, my MacBook is a little bit faster. But still, it feels like I have poor CPU / GPU / SSD performance. Blackmagic Disk Speed Test gives me Read / Write ~300MB/s, for both SSDs (Apple & Samsung SSD). This is the same as before the LogicBoard swap.
CPU temperature is at 47°C constantly (I re-pasted the heatsink).
There is no performance difference between battery / power supply. All windows are kind of laggy when moved.
I did a full EtreCheck, which confirms the poor performance of the MacBook.
Please help!
