Migrate WhatsApp from Android to iOS

Hi. I would like to ask if anybody has been in the same situation as me. I encountered some issues while migrating from android to iOS using move to ios app. My goal was to transfer my whatsapp chats to my first iphone from my Android. When I did the process the first time, it was really slow, taking 17 hours, but eventually transferred. But as soon as I created my Apple ID, downloaded WhatsApp on my iphone, the backup from my android appeared but got stuck in the middle and gave me an error. As soon as I rebooted the phone and tried again, this time entering whatsapp no backup was found and my chats were not there. So I tried resetting my iPhone again and restarting the transferring from my old android all over again, and the process lasted less because i had deleted a lot of data meanwhile. The thing is that as soon as I tried the process again, 2 times, my just initiated iphone wouldn’t detect any backup from android anyway. I wonder if you know how to solve this and if this could be caused by something like the fact that my Apple ID is already created and associated to the phone number I’m using from WhatsApp or something. I really have no idea, being a new ios user. Thank you in advance
