Question

My Apple ID is locked

the apple Id is locked and I know the password but it's sending a code to an old phone number that is no longer mine because we have gotten new phones. how do I get an access code if I have no access to the phone in which the code is being sent to? I also cant go change the trusted phone number because it asks me to unlock apple ID before I can open and it just ends up looping by sending a code to the number that’s not longer ours

Don't you have another device like an iPad,imac or iMacbook under your account to get the verification code?

no sadly it’s my dad’s account and that phone is weirdly the only one with that account and if I try signing into that account on another device it still tells me to recover the code being sent to the number that we just simply don’t have anymore.
